Thanks Luke for the vote of confidence. BTW, I added links to Black Bowmore and White Bowmore in my post above taking you to my reviews of both of these whiskies.

I had the good fortune to taste White Bowmore at an official Morrison Bowmore tasting in Dublin in 2008.

Needless to say, official Morrison Bowmore tastings in Dublin will be well attended in future...

P.S. For those not fortunate enough John's review of WB is spot-on.

Thanks for the correction John.
It's less out of reach now. ;)
As always, looking forward to your thoughts.

BTW, I was sent an updated price (fortunately lower) for this whisky, by the importer. I made the adjustment.

I think John is overworked...and we should all take turns handing his samples...give the poor man a break. Then again, It's a rough job, but someone has to do it.

I think not so many people will have a problem with this super-premium malt.
Yes, this expression of Bowmore will be expensive and most people will not be able to afford it, but at least this one is a real rarity and not just mock-rarities like the the bottles from the Manager's Choice series.

While I'll never get to taste it, I'll be looking forward to your tasting notes. I got to sample the black bowmore before and very much enjoyed it.

I'd never BUY it. I may as well just go downtown and kick poor people in the head. But I enjoyed the sample.
